The backplane board will have a series of sockets for small pug in modules which will be RS232,DCS or fibre. I finally found them on the side using a mirror. This is an AVP 2.0 platform. I tried the RS232 cable that came with Bettor TITO because it fit nicely underneath the fibre. But, no luck getting it working. I'll double-check my SAS settings to make sure I didn't miss anything. I would still like to get some of the missing manuals if you have them. Thanks so much! :Dave Title: Re: AVP 2.0 schematic Post by: TZtech on July 29, 2013, 01:49:21 PM I meant cabinet type - G20 , GMLD ?
Modern IGT's suffer from serious design diarrhea - the whole cabinet is packed full of shit. Seriously IGT how difficult is proper hardware design ? AVP = Assload of Volatile Products Attached a few photos of fiber and DCS board and our current SAS settings ( Card based no TITO). I think I posted some info on these in the Player tracking section will have a look. Title: Re: AVP 2.0 schematic Post by: 4 Deuces on July 29, 2013, 02:29:51 PM I meant cabinet type - G20 , GMLD ? I'm actually not sure. Here is a picture of it ... http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=24945.msg193896#msg193896 Is this a G20? :208- :208- :208- Modern IGT's suffer from serious design diarrhea - the whole cabinet is packed full of shit. Seriously IGT how difficult is proper hardware design ? :97- You are so right. I thought it stood for "Architecturally Very Poor". The design is so incredibly bad. Even the White Reset button is behind the monitor. EKey is even more hidden ... behind monitor, inside brain box with two 15 minute reboots required. It's definitely a step backwards. My 3902's are looking better and better every day. :89-AVP = Assload of Volatile Products Based on the photos, I believe I have BOTH the fiber and DCS boards (not home right now, but remember two boards coming off the backplane and being practically crushed by the printer). I tried plugging into the DCS. I'll take a look at your product because I'm actually short one TITO device. Thanks for the replies! :Dave |
