Let us know if you do have any luck with IGT. Thanks to the GSA SAS is supposed to be an open protocol but it seems that it is still nearly impossible for hobbyists and small developement companies to get theirs hand on info. Have a look at the 9th post on the thread that i linked to - There is a PDF attached with SAS protocol details - To date that is the only information i have seen. Also came across a company that developes computer boards for gaming applications. They claim it comes with SAS protocol implementation buit in. Dont know what their developement kit costs but i am sure it will be less than GSA membership. The biggest problem that everyone thats implementing this in software seems to be controlling the wake up bit. If you have any tips on this that would be great.
