Title: New Bally 6000 Owner Post by: jdkmunch on March 28, 2009, 09:20:54 PM A very special thanks to a NLG member who drove 6 hours to meet me today to pick up my Bally 6000. I drove 12 hours and we met in a discrete location. :3- :3-
Anyway here is my first question - and second :) - The machine is a TITO machine and I need some paper. Can I cut up some thermal paper or where can I buy some? The second may deserve its own thread. Has anyone ever hooked up their lot to a server emulator so the players club card would work? It would be a hoot when I put in my Mohegan Sun card it would say Welcome Jonathan - You have 40 points..... Thanks again Title: Re: New Bally 6000 Owner Post by: a69mopar on March 28, 2009, 09:27:09 PM http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=2461.msg19256#msg19256 (http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=2461.msg19256#msg19256) Ticket answer is here
I'll look for the other thread. Thanks, Wayne Title: Re: New Bally 6000 Owner Post by: jdkmunch on March 28, 2009, 09:35:57 PM Thanks Wayne - I will post a WTB ad... I would like to play with pack and make sure I can get the thing working.

If you have a card from the casino it will say welcome Jonathan. I have a card for one that I have. Obviously you need the mastercom controller.
Good luck, Wayne Title: Re: New Bally 6000 Owner Post by: jdkmunch on March 28, 2009, 09:52:25 PM What is the mastercom controller? I am probably thinking this works differently than it does. In my mind the slot would connect to a network and report all statistics to a db. But I'm thinking IP network.
Title: Re: New Bally 6000 Owner Post by: jdkmunch on March 28, 2009, 10:24:42 PM I can't believe I just missed a huge thread on the paper. :37-
Title: Re: New Bally 6000 Owner Post by: a69mopar on March 28, 2009, 10:53:49 PM the mastercom controlls the player tracking and hooks up to the system. Most casinos take them out but leave the phone cords and other cables that attach to them. I modified mine it to put my custom message in which can be seen in the post.
Good luck, Wayne |
