Title: Frog Prince locks up during bonus round Post by: BR549 Auto Sales on August 10, 2013, 06:17:36 PM I have a Frog Prince reel touch that plays just fine until I get the kiss the frog bonus, during the bonus round you can touch a frog on the screen and it registers, (makes a noise and highlights the screen) but nothing happens aftet that, it just stays on the bonus round. My game is a CMOS 2 type machine and I am using a 504 board with the following chips:
SB000563 SG000301 (1&2) Also tried SB000504 with the same SG chips Tried both of thes combinations with the following version chips: VS009GXO VS009VXO Tried all combinations with these chips and the game still locks up during the bonus round Is there something else I can do to get this game to work properly? Title: Re: Frog Prince locks up during bonus round Post by: BR549 Auto Sales on September 08, 2013, 06:07:04 AM This particular hard drive has other games on it, Bucks Ahoy, Flip Flop Deluxe, Denver Duck, Lucky Larry and Frog Prince. It is a Bios 2 hard drive and it also locks up on the bonus round on Denver Duck, (tried that game theme since I had the SB chip for it) Couls all the game son that hard drive be bad since I have tried two different games and they both lock up during the bonus rounds? Or could it be that I need a different SB chip, SG chips or another version chip? For what it's worth the game has a 504 board in it. I was sent another Frog Prince Bios 1 hard drive and a Bios 1 chip so they would match, tried those and I got a video display comm failure, powered it off and back on again and then got a RFA corrupt message, re boot system. Any idea as to what else I can try to get this Frog Prince game working? Both RAM cards looked fine but I did re seat them anyway.
Thanks, David Title: Re: Frog Prince locks up during bonus round Post by: lindam1 on September 08, 2013, 10:36:27 AM Your problem is the H/D and BIOS chip. You are using a BIOS 2 chip and H/D. that SB & SG set of chips is made to work with BIOS 1 and a single game drive. H/D files are different on the two drives.

Here are the SB and SG chips I have to use right now: Denver Duck....SB000562 SG000301 Frog Prince...SB000504 SG000301 Other 2 SB chips I have on hand are SB000563 and SB000545 I have a Bios 1 and a Bios 2 small chip as well Title: Re: Frog Prince locks up during bonus round Post by: slotsteve on September 08, 2013, 01:47:52 PM I had to change sg chips on dd old chips made in lockup in bonus round
Title: Re: Frog Prince locks up during bonus round Post by: lindam1 on September 08, 2013, 03:52:24 PM Your Frog needs to be SB 563 & SG 301 to avoid the bonus lockup, If your using BIOS 1 and compatible drive files. I have not tried using BIOS 2 and the newer drives files to know if it locks up.
Title: Re: Frog Prince locks up during bonus round Post by: BR549 Auto Sales on September 08, 2013, 10:45:08 PM Tried the 563 with the Bios 1 chip and the 301 SGs and this is what now comes up on the screen.
