Title: How to connect Bettor TITO (or any RS-232 based TITO) to IGT AVP machine Post by: 4 Deuces on August 21, 2013, 12:06:33 PM This is the gadget I was referring to in another post. It's called a "DCS Daughter Board" and this is where the RS-232 plug is located. This board plugs into the backplane behind the printer and behind a protective metal cover (so the printer doesn't push on the board). The plug faces left as pictured, so it's very difficult to find and plug the RS-232 plug into. This goes into the COM1 slot on the backplane.
I know some of you know this ... just posting for those who may get an AVP in the future. Also thought Jim might want this for his instructions. :Dave http://www.ebay.com/itm/DCS-DAUGHTER-CARD-FOR-IGT-AVP-RS232-BOARD-75402400W-REV-A-MC5110-BRAND-NEW-/130971969602 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/DCS-DAUGHTER-CARD-FOR-IGT-AVP-RS232-BOARD-75402400W-REV-A-MC5110-BRAND-NEW-/130971969602) |
