Title: Tito @ Home and BV-fixed Post by: frosty170 on September 04, 2013, 09:43:46 PM I have a wba 13 with IDO24 3.75 and a Tito at home board. BV takes all bills no problem, some tickets will work and some won't be accepted by the BV. If I take a ticket out of the cash box that worked once, but won't work again, others will work over and over again. I did clean the optics, but since it takes all bills I'm thinking its a validation problem.

Title: Re: Tito @ Home and BV Post by: Yoeddy1 on September 05, 2013, 03:43:00 AM Keep in mind that mixed results could also be due to a needed calibration. Cleaning may not be enough. AG&E carries the JCM WBA calibration paper. Might be worth a shot.

Title: Re: Tito @ Home and BV Post by: PLUNGER BOY on September 05, 2013, 10:24:16 AM It could be old ticket paper . P.B
Title: Re: Tito @ Home and BV Post by: frosty170 on September 05, 2013, 01:46:00 PM I was thinking it was the paper too. I put in new paper and still have the problem. funny thing is it does not reject the bills. I checked the credit limits and they are all above what the ticket amounts are. I'm new so I may be missing something.

Jason We have the WBA Calibration paper on our website. http://www.centralvalleyslots.com/jcm-wba-validator-paper.html Watch the shipping with AG&E and Happs. Shipping killed me when I bought them....how can a company charge $11.00 shipping for something shipped in an envelope??? Title: Re: Tito @ Home and BV Post by: cowboygames on September 05, 2013, 02:22:27 PM Have you checked your Tito to make sure all plugs are secure? Was it working well and this is a new issue or has it always been this way? Are your tickets printing clearly and completely? Do you have another machine you can try it in?
Title: Re: Tito @ Home and BV Post by: frosty170 on September 05, 2013, 02:36:20 PM Just the one machine. I'll check the plugs when I get home, I just installed it
Tickets all look the same as to the print quality. I'll have a ticket that will work and then later pull it out of the cash can and it won't work but the others will. I don't understand how this TITO board works but I'm guessing that if a tickets works once it should work again as long as the ticket has not been damaged. Title: Re: Tito @ Home and BV Post by: cowboygames on September 05, 2013, 03:03:16 PM That and I should point out your BV's ability to accept bills is controlled by it and the machine whereas your BV's ability to accept tickets is an override by that unit, so it's possible it may have some type of issue affecting that override. That's why I asked about plugs. You may want to talk to the supplier for troubleshooting tips also
Title: Re: Tito @ Home and BV Post by: frosty170 on September 05, 2013, 06:54:49 PM Thanks Cowboy, here's the two response's I got from the vendor:
1)Okay. It sounds like a problem with the head of the bill validator. Here is what I would do. First, watch how it pulls the tickets in. If it pulls them crooked they will reject sometimes because it can't read the barcode fully. Next, open the head of the validator as if it has a bill stuck in it and wipe down both top and bottom, where the sensor windows are, with rubbing alcohol. Those two things are most likely where the issue is. It sounds like it. 2) If it was the board or printer it wouldn't take the ticket ever. Title: Re: Tito @ Home and BV Post by: cowboygames on September 05, 2013, 07:23:12 PM Both very good ideas and valid points, that's why I asked about plugs also. I was thinking if it was dirty then you'd have problems with bills going in also as tickets should be easier to read than bills because bills have more reference points the validator has to look for and accept. I would think a cleaning issue would be universal to all things inserted. The only difference being of course that bills are wider than tickets and may not get skewed going in as easily as a ticket. Just trying to narrow down possibilities
Title: Re: Tito @ Home and BV Post by: frosty170 on September 06, 2013, 10:56:11 PM Just an update, I went back into the credit limits and changed them again and it worked, I must of not saved the settings last time. Thank you everyone for helping.
