Title: Bally EM model 1096 slot Post by: tonyj on September 08, 2013, 02:03:47 AM Hi All,
I am new to slot machines and just purchased my first. a Bally Electromechanical model 1096 25 Cent machine. It is in overall nice shape except for the frame around the belly glass has a few dents. Does anyone know of a company that sells either new old stock or reproduction parts for these slots. Thanks and hope to enjoy lots of fun chat about classic slots. Regards, Tony Title: Re: Bally EM model 1096 slot Post by: Mirage_Chaser on September 08, 2013, 02:53:46 AM I do not believe anyone is making reproduction parts for any old machines. I am not familiar with the model you speak of but my suggestion would be you post a WTB (want to buy) post in the classifieds on here. Pictures are always appreciated too. We want to see what you got.
The vendors on this site are always glad to help when they can. Good luck Title: Re: Bally EM model 1096 slot Post by: Amachanic on September 08, 2013, 04:47:25 AM Hi All, I am new to slot machines and just purchased my first. a Bally Electromechanical model 1096 25 Cent machine. Thanks for the reply's , i did check Foxslots and they actually have a frame on ebay. I will just have to check the size for fit. Also from the info i found online it describes the frame is held on by two screws that are located on the inside of the unit. I will post a pic of the machine shortly. Thanks again, Tony Title: Re: Bally EM model 1096 slot Post by: FOXSSLOTS1 on September 08, 2013, 11:49:57 AM do not have the belly glass frame for your machine - only a narrow one on ebay

thanks for the response, i think im going to try and take mine off and bang out the dents. Are there only two screws holding the frame and glass on? Thanks again, tony Title: Re: Bally EM model 1096 slot Post by: Amachanic on September 08, 2013, 03:48:45 PM Two screws hold the lower glass assembly to the front door. There should be two small screws on the bottom of the frame at each end that holds the top section of the frame together. Remove them and the frame comes apart to get the glass out.
Gary Title: Re: Bally EM model 1096 slot Post by: OldReno on September 08, 2013, 05:01:08 PM there are 2 screws that hold the belly glass assembly in place. They are at the TOP corners of the inside of the door at the top edge of the belly glass assembly (halfway up the door). One should be behind the lower molex plug on the right side looking in at it, and the other is on the left side, right around where the door lock is, and there may be a fluorescent starter very close to it. Be sure to keep you left hand fully on the glass as you undo the last screw or else the whole assembly may fall out and your glass may break. After the 2 screws are removed you can pull outward and then lift up on the assembly.
