Title: Re: BALLY 6000 Post by: paul on March 16, 2009, 12:28:40 AM Here is another one with the same machine I cant get the BV to work but with the 2.20 series chip in it it works if i put the new one in it wont work the more i think it might have somthing to do with tournement mode you know when i think i get into trouble
Title: Re: BALLY 6000 Post by: StatFreak on March 16, 2009, 12:37:08 AM I'm not entirely sure about the 6000's, but with the 5500's many of the board's dip switch settings don't change when you flip the switches -- they are only implemented immediately following a full saferam clear. I was just taking a guess about the tourney mode based on the auto re-bet that was occurring. I was thinking that if the switches had been changed at some point, the changes wouldn't have surfaced until the board was cleared.
Title: Re: BALLY 6000 Post by: paul on March 16, 2009, 01:02:04 AM What would cause the 2.20 program work on the bv and none other Both 5500 and 6000 are almost the same
Title: Re: BALLY 6000 Post by: a69mopar on March 16, 2009, 11:31:19 AM I just noticed this post, probably because it should be in reel slots instead of video. Mods, please move it.
what bv do you have? wba10/11? Wba13? Version 2.20? the current id003 v3.75-32i eprom would be the new one for a wba13. If it's a wba10 or 11 then it would be V360-30. It's likely that the "version 2.20 chip you have is bad or the wrong id. Let me know if you figure out how you got your machine in demo mode. What mains are you using? Thanks, Wayne Title: Re: BALLY 6000 Post by: channelmaniac on March 16, 2009, 11:43:14 AM I just noticed this post, probably because it should be in reel slots instead of video. Mods, please move it. Done! Thanks for helping us keep everything where it should be. That helps folks that are browsing the site to figure out what's wrong with their slot. :D Title: Re: BALLY 6000 Post by: StatFreak on March 16, 2009, 12:11:19 PM Dang you're fast Ray.
