Title: VLC 8724CG won't turn on Post by: roupcat on April 04, 2009, 12:47:49 AM I just bought it and it's dead. The monitor has a red glow in the back of the tube, the top glass light comes on, and it sounds like a fan is running. Where do I start to trouble shoot. What does the battery do?

Nothing happens when I push the button on the in/out meter panel. This is a multi-game -Winning Touch machine. !997 The touch screen doesn't light up. It seems like the board isn't getting power. Fuses are good. Bill accepter dosen't work. One little green light on the top board comes on.
Title: Re: VLC 8724CG won't turn on Post by: roupcat on April 08, 2009, 01:28:40 PM By adjusting the H hold and blk level I got the CRT flashing. Does that mean the tube is good? The monitor is a Wells-Gardner 19k7689 . I found a .22k cap laying on the frame when I pulled he monitor. Can't find where it came from. Anyone have a schematic?
