I have a s2000 reel machine. Door bypass installed green battery removed coinless mode bill validator printer multi-denom using the extra button Tito installed Turned it on the other day and got the error printer door open and main open. Had credits on the machine What I did was rearranged the memory eproms then did a key 31 turned off the printer Seems fine But what caused the error? I would like to use the printer. That took care of it

Title: Re: Printer Door Open Error Post by: Styx on September 28, 2013, 01:04:05 AM I've fixed it by re seating the printer, power cycling the printer, reseating the connnections, or power cycling the machine itself. Sometimes diagnostics and printing a test ticket will trick it back into operation too. Printers can be so finicky. Some machines, are as annoying as having to open and close the hood door to clear the error, or having to turn the reset key to clear the error. Opening and closing the main door is another thing, so if you have door switches bypassed, that may be a reason?
