Title: Another Lost Newbee--IGT S2000-Manual Post by: Bearsfan27 on October 05, 2013, 04:32:35 AM Help. I am going crazy. I keep searching all the old threads and have looked in the search menu and have found the Downloads for the S2000 manuals but I still can't seem to find what I am looking for. Maybe it doesn't exist. I just bought my first machine a IGT Dozens of Diamonds round top---3 coin machine made in 2002. I just want a full manual that tells me everything about it so that I have prayer of keeping it running. It is working fine now, but I know absolutely nothing about it. I have been collect pinballs for 45 years and still don't know as much about them as I would like, so I just want to start off on the right foot with slots. It seems that the ones I find are all S2000 Vision ones. Even the one at Rudys.Deals is a vision one. Can someone steer me in the right direction please? I also would like to know where the best place to go to buy parts for it is. Such as locks, chips, bulbs etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This looks like a GREAT Forum from what I can tell so far, much like Pinside is for pinballs. Thank You!!

The first S 2000 were called "Vision ready" I'm wondering if that term is what's throwing you off on the manuals you have found. If you want to know the exact difference between a Vision Ready and a S 2000, Foster is the one to ask. Myself I've never found a manual that helped me as much as this forum. You name it and it's been covered on this site. You have a problem or just a question, POST it, someone will get back to you. The hardware is pretty much the same except for all the topbox stuff where the pc and lcd display for the top box features would go on a vision platform. The bottom part of the cabinet is the same as far as I know. You need to know what your Game chips are so you can get a PSR of your chips and know which options have during setup. Everything else, you can just post a question and it will be answered in short time.
