You must have found the open switch last night that was preventing you from going on line?. Prob. was bv switch?.  Even brand new ones grunt some.  Would have to hear it to tell you if normal or not.

Was all 3 switches, not just 1! The last error said Open Door Main. It wasnt the main, it was the top box!!
I know they grunt sometimes normally, but these shake the machine about every other spin!

You prob. just need new reels then.  The baskets may be bent, warped, etc. causing a imbalance -just like a tire/wheel on a car.  Feel it at higher speeds-these reels spin some rpm's.  or it is a bearing(s) issue in them.  I do not have any spares but sure others do.  At least you are on line.

Sometimes they grunt very loudly, other times you cant hear a thing. They spin nice and straight every time, no wobbling!! Cant be the reels, maybe the reel motors, but not the reels.

I refuse to change reels, ESPECIALLY ON A MYSTIC LAMP, LOL!!!  :279-

I did that once and had MECHANICAL REELS NOT CONFIGURED error for like 6 months! A friend of mine, THANKS CHARLES!!, helped me on that issue..... Won't go there again!!  :99-

Those casino techs dont give a .... about those slot machines. I forgot the Alpha 5 reelers have a reel cetering adjusting arm with a star like locking nut which OF COURSE was less than finger tight. I adjusted to center, tightened the star like locking nut and they are nice and quiet. They grunt just a bit once in a while, which is typical, but it's like 98% better!!
