Looking at a sigma treasure wheel slot that is not working. Not sure if I should be looking at this as my first slot but I am. It is missing the coin tray, is this something that is available somewhere, as well as other parts if necessary?  I like the slot itself and am hoping it might be an easy fix. I haven't plugged it in yet to see what it does, I am hopefully going to see it this week. Are parts available, I looked for the coin tray and had no luck, so if I can't find this am I to assume sigmas are something to steer clear of?

How big is your boat?

If it's over 25 ft the Sigma will make a good anchor for it. Otherwise it might be too big if you only have a Bass Boat.

Buzz will tell you horror stories about Sigma. I have a UV1700 and so far it has been good, but those too have issues.

I'd start out with a Bally 6000 or IGT.

So shoul I stay away at any price? They are asking 75 and I'm pretty sure they will go less

Well,  I have a Yahtzee that kicked my butt here years ago.  I posted  many results about.  This was a LONG time ago.  To this day---It STILL fires up and is a blast to play.  As a note have another one of these at mother in laws house for her.  Been there 4-years--Fires rite up--On-demand.  Both yahtzee's--sigma/mikohn.  

For a home slot, you want something that has parts available.  You are going to spend so much money buying parts for that just to get it working, and it will take you a while to find them, unless you get really lucky.  Stick to an S2000 or Bally 6000, as those are plentiful and you can get kits to change the theme quite easily.  You WILL get bored of the machine looking the same all the time.

On the IGT for 150, it depends on what it is.  What model and are you sure that is the only thing missing.  IGT S+ or S2000 are parts friendly, you could pretty much fix anything that is wrong with them.  The S+ is a work horse, it is far more reliable than an S2000, but it lacks the modern touches like backlit reels and enhanced sounds.

Actually I like the Sigma Treasure Wheel and/or Tunnel machine...If it is working, then $75 is a great price for it...It is a lot of fun to play...If you do decide to get it, I have a tray and a few other parts for it for sell...I converted my wheel to LED's and it made it look awesome...I did sell it however later...Once they are up and running, they are pretty robust and you don't have to worry about ever changing out a battery...(if you do not use them for a couple of months you might loose your credits, but you don't need clear chips to get it working again)...
