Title: Bally 5500 Blazing 7'S?
Post by: Thompy on October 18, 2013, 07:05:13 PM
Hi all,

I have been given a Bally 5500 to see if I can get it back up in running, I changed the battery and got the tilt cleared.  The machine is coining in and out but it seems the program in the machine is not matching the reel strips.

I went into test 10 and the win's do not correspond to the top glass, in the diagnostic test the eprom info shows 7094, the reel map config test it show 0-0.

I have attached some pics, is there any where I could find the SMI on this machine? really hope you can help.... :nlg-

Many thanks

Thompy

The SMI number is on the Personality Chips U-18 and U-20--Check these chips first to see what is there--then go to NLG Wayne's post to see what chips you have

OK sorry found it, it tells me that I have Triple Blazing 7's Diamond Line, how would I go about getting the programs for the reel and glass in my cabinet?

Many thanks again.

Hi again--I think you are looking for SMI 6274-6276 Blazing 777 with 2500 top pay--JJSlots has SMI 6276 (94.21% top pay back)--They have a web site (JJSlots)--I have bought several game chips from him--he is very reasonable--anyway try them

Hi--I was wrong on that SMI number--apparently your game has the reel movement--I think it would be SMI 7186-87 etc--Check on Wayne's list--Sorry I didn't look at the game that close
