Title: Color problem on a Bally V5500 Video Poker Machine Post by: ucanwin on October 19, 2013, 11:12:10 PM I am not sure if this is a monitor problem , or not, so I am asking the experts for help. The machine is a Bally V5500 video poker.
The problem is that the white on my cards is more of a pink color. I had recently sent my nonworking monitor board in to Ceronix to be repaired. They said that there were multiple issues with it, and sent me a refurbished board. Now I have the above mentioned color problem. Could there be a problem with the refurbished board, or could the be some other issue? What are your thoughts? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Jerry P.S. This is bazaar! I just went to take a picture of my monitor screen showing the pink coloring on the cards so I could attach it to this posting, and when I turned the machine on........the pink is now white as it should be. When I first got the refurbished board back from Ceronix, I had the color problem. As I left the machine powered up for a period of time, the colors improved. I am wondering if it took some time for the capacitors to get charged up or something. I haven't had the problem since then.
