Title: Adding coin ability to slot machine- Newbie help Post by: smileman83 on October 21, 2013, 09:51:08 PM So I have a Game King ( I game) which does accept bills, but the coin hopper, try etc are missing. I assume its possible to return it to its original operation in accepting coins as well, but I need some direction. I would love to read a how to etc, but I guess my first question is whats actually missing that I need? How much reprogramming is there to allow it to accept coins, and I am being too foolish for little gain other than originality and appearance.
History on the machine is sketchy, there is what I believe you call a coin comparator, (interestingly 1 pound- and there are numerous UK stickers inside the machine), however, only the tracks where the hopper used to be, and no coin tray. This is a 19" cabinet (upright). Some initial direction would be greatly appreciated. Lastly, the locks have been removed and I wanted to replace those. My other game which is an s2000 has the belly door lock, the main lock and the cash box lock all keyed to the same key and that would be great. Obviously the reset key is different. For all except the belly door, the lock is there but appears to have had the guts ( cam and lever) removed. The belly door has only a hole where a lock used to be. So I guess I would need to know what size locks these take and where to locate and have keyed to the same key. Bruce |
