Title: Multi-Denomination Slots..What are they?
Post by: Magicslots on April 09, 2009, 12:17:13 AM
New to owning my own machine, and having a ball working on it and playing it. Some of the sellers on the net out there advertise
multi denomination slots.  The pics don't enlarge well enough for me to read the glass, so could one of you kind people tell me exactly what these
are?  I rarely get to go to casinos and see all the goodies being played.  Do they take different coins as well as bills, don't quite understand how that would work with a comparitor being what it is.. This is probably a stupid question, but I feel like the day is a loss if I don't learn something new. :30-

No such thing as a stupid question here.  Almost all slots in casinos are now TITO (Ticket-in, Ticket out) so it is possible to have multi-denomination slot machines without worrying about the type of token used.
With a multi-denominational slot machine, you simply choose what denomination you want to play with. These machines are nice because you can mix up what you want to bet if you feel like it.
On Video poker, I might start with a 50 cent denomination, and then occasionally raise it to $1.00.  That way I am not always playing $5 per hand and I get more play for my buck! :89-

Here's an example of a multi-button, multi-denomination game that's in live casinos today...
