Title: Re: Summit Manual - Found Post by: ramegoom on November 10, 2013, 01:14:46 AM I delved into a Summit and went through the learning curve. Did a bit of work identifying the driver board components. This can be helpful for troubleshooting.

Title: Re: Summit Manual - Found Post by: ramegoom on November 10, 2013, 01:42:53 PM On the CPU board, I'd recommend putting a socket under the opto-coupler ILQ-74. It's a frequent problem with the system and would be a good idea to have a spare or two.

And, you can use a cordless phone 3.6v. NiMH battery to replace the nicad original: (http://www.ramegoom.com/john/Summit_Systems/summit_cpu_rebuilt-1600.jpg) Does your machine have a sound card? I added a reel-spin sound to mine and can post some info on that. Title: Re: Summit Manual - Found Post by: harp on November 10, 2013, 01:56:22 PM Noted and will take the advice
