Title: SIMM/EPROM storage
Post by: Yoeddy1 on November 17, 2013, 02:49:46 AM
So how does everybody store their massive collections of game sets?

Thanks,
Jason

The tubes and the foil bags....not the most professional maybe, but has worked so far...oh, and a few in the little black boxes from IGT.  :89-

That's what I do as well.  I'd love to put together some sort of organized storage system...perhaps a project over Thanksgiving.  ;)

If you figure something out, please venture south to sunny (hahahhaaha) CA!!!  I have boxes of SIMMs, tubes of proms, all just waiting to be matched up to loving families! So far, theIGT boxes have worked best to hold a complete set, but always looking for new ideas!!!

Jason, I'll store them for you.   :89-

I bet you have a great collection.  I still just have a few.  So I keep my games in the boards themselves.  I also keep an eeprom with the board, so when it's time to change games, I swap both the board and the eeprom.  Can change a game in less than 30 seconds with no configuration.  But, if I had your collection, I guess I'd have a storage problem with boards.

I saw some pretty cool storage units in Harbor Freight.  The only thing is, they're plastic and I'm not sure how that would do with ESD. :103-
