Snapdragon is NOT NXT, it is the first generation Bluebird reel slot board, it uses eproms, no longer supported by WMS, the second generation reel slot board is known as Dragonfighter and is CF Card based, that is conversion stuff pulled from Bluebird cabinets for video upgrade, hence the door in the load, the Bluebird can be either reel or video

I downloaded the link early this morning and just did so again with no issues. Did you try right-clicking and selecting "Save Link As.." or "Save Target As.."?

Jim, thanks for the explanation of the Bluebird board evolution.

Clay, the middle board of the 3 in the vid is used for the top section for a dual screen 550 video set up. At first they were putting in a full 1.5+ board up top and then switched to just the half board used in the top cabinet. A-006120    5779-006121-00

The reel kits are not worth much and they are first generation BB reels kits which were outdated before they even released it to the casinos back in 2002 compared to the rest of the market.   Todays themes are CFlash based and use the same platform as the video which Jim pointed out.  The themes are very similar to the 400 series machines in terms of sound and game play.  The CPU is based on the older platform and is just as limited in terms of memory space etc.

Pluto is the top board for leased themes like Hollywood SQ4, Monopoly games etc. Needs erpoms for each game title.

The 1.5 + upper board (just supports top box video) will work for any 550 but is not used in the BB these days.

The last board is the I/O for a rare NXT 550 setup that had 1 I/O and 1 NXT CPU Only board like the original 1.5 platform.  The I/O board was not combined into the cpu board.  Used in some Lottery areas if I remember correctly.

The 1.5+ board is the only thing I would want and they are not that popular overall.

Actually Dave your info is incorrect on the kits.
These kits are from 2007. And the games
are currently in casinos. In fact, i just took
these pictures TODAY at vegas Planet hollywood.
these are the actual game kits i bought right here.

the kits include everything in the pictures below
including the entire front door, control panel, all glass,
reel assemblies and strips, CPU & box, harness,
coin comparitor, etc etc. Just about everything except
for the topper and the actual cabinet shell.

All i wish is these kits had the video monitor that
goes in front of the reels so it was the "transmissive"
reel type. those are WAY cool.

I should have been more clear you are right.

The themes are older style while still in the casino today WMS moved away from that platform going forward.   So lots of these kits were pulled over the last few years and are around to purchase.   The newer kits use the CPU-NXT1 hardware and not the older snapdragon board which is what these kits run on.

I am impressed you are able to buy direct from the casino?

Snapdragon was the first for sure, Dave I am sure you remember the stuff from 2 years ago, here is some software dated early 2004 from Snapdragon boards, I have had that stuff for 2 years same Toppers, same Reels, harnesses, pics of software with dates attached
