Title: Need pic of Fortune 1 motherboard with sound connector Post by: satelliteman on December 04, 2013, 06:00:04 PM Looking for someone to post a picture of a Fortune 1 motherboard with the sound connector. I am looking for a board to use in my Player's Edge 21 machine. Slots4home said they may have one, but need to see a picture of the board. Thanks in advance for any help given.

It uses contacts off of relays on the I/O board to make the sounds. I built a tester to test FI sound boards and a 9V battery and some switches enable the sounds. Can't see how it would interface to to a PE machine. Fortune II has a separate sound board but the PE+ has built in sounds and uses a sound chip to generate sounds which are called up in software.
