Title: Bonus Reel Disconnected Error Message Post by: mah on December 11, 2013, 03:26:31 PM Have a Freedom Stars I installed in a previous 3 reel cabinet and I'm getting the error message above.
I searched and found the following thread: http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=236.0 (http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=236.0) Can someone please elaborate on the I/O grounding procedure? I follow installing the jumper but I'm not sure how to go about grounding the pin of the cabinet I/O board. I assume the pins are marked somehow? This is a step by step I did a few years ago. The way I read it it sounded like installing the jumper and grounding the I/O pin were two separate things. Thanks for the reply. Jumping this was all I did. look at the post, it is step by step on how I converted a three reel to a 3 reel plus bonus reel.
