Title: S+ player tracking led display Post by: clizifer on December 12, 2013, 01:27:43 AM hey there, i have a few s+ slots here and im trying to get an led display to work on one of them. i have the silver metal box that sits behind the reels, the power supply for it and obviously the led display itself. when i connect up what i have the display comes on (it actual always stays on) it displays its boot up messages then just says "comm" after. im guessing it needs some sort of communications to it. i have another board that i found behind the top glass with some cat5 ports on it as well, but i havent hooked that up as most of the wires from it have been cut at the opposite end. basically what im wondering is there a way to have custom messages scroll across that display? and how would i go about entering the messages into there? anyone with any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks :)
Title: Re: S+ player tracking led display Post by: knagl on December 12, 2013, 04:39:13 PM There are many kinds of player tracking displays out there. You'll need to provide more information about the particular one you have (or post a couple of pictures of it) in order for us to tell you if it's possible or not to easily get a custom message on there.

Have a look at this thread - http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=24900.0 Title: Re: S+ player tracking led display Post by: clizifer on December 13, 2013, 09:56:27 PM my display is basically the same as the one that was posted in that thread. i was hoping it might be easier to do with the equipment i already have :P i dont really wanna have to put more money into it. id rather spend it on new bill acceptors lol
