Title: IGT AVP touchscreen comm fail

Does anyone know what to do with touchscreen comm fail on IGT AVP Gameking. Checked VGA cables,monitor is good, and tried new power supply.

Check the black molex plug inside the machine and the one on the monitor chasis that plugs into the machine for any bent or pushed back pins. Make shore you reseat the monitor as far back as it will go.

Did the Touch Screen just stop working, did you by chance change the BV or Printer?

Using an RS232 BV or Printer will bring down Netplex which the Touch Screen is part of

didn't change out bv or printer, just stopped working, will check the plugs again. would disabling bv or printer clear the error possibly?

Try pushing the selftest button on the MPU then turn your jackpot key this should bring up touch screen calibration try to re calibrate.
