Title: Back glass flaking...
Post by: Randy0777 on April 20, 2009, 02:55:26 AM
I've had this pinball for over ten years and was lucky to find a backglass about seven years ago. The first one started flaking after a year or two. This one is starting to "come loose" from the glass( look at the top X) Was wondering how I can slow this down  :103-  I installed the low wattage bulbs and only have it on when people want to play

I spray all my pinball glasses with Krylon "Triple Thick" to preserve them.
It's a "hot" lacquer based product, and help keep everything in place.
The problem though with bally glasses is that often they try and
delaminate in "sheets". This makes re-adhesion more difficult.
Spray very "wet" coats too. I usually do 2 wet coats.
