Title: Lucky Larry's not so lucky :) pc keeps cycling through start up. Post by: Slam on December 29, 2013, 09:08:29 PM No idea on the history of this machine. I put a tested/working monitor setup in it. On power up it goes through all the checks like always, it gets to building pool ...... success . screen goes black for about 20 sec. then starts all over again. Thinking its prob a bad hard drive. Any ideas?

Remove and clean pins on ram chips with pencil eraser. 3. Plug in keyboard and enter BIOS (Del key), Check HD is set to auto. If batt was dead or low, reset BIOS date. Exit and reboot. good luck......these machine can be challenging.
