Can any one please tell me how to block a seller on my Ebay searches? To many photos. Thanks.

I don't think there's an option to do that on ebay other than going into "My ebay"
and deleting a particular seller's list from your "Watched Items"?  :129-

Or maybe taking the seller OFF of your "Seller's You Follow" list?

Go to "advanced search" and scroll down towards the bottom. There is a section that says "sellers". You check a box there to enable the menu options, and then there is a section that will say "include", click on the menu and change it to "exclude" and then type the sellers name in the box next to it, then perform your search. The search will now exclude the sellers items.

Doesn't it cost him for each and every listing he has on these crappy B/W photos? I can't imagine that he ever sells any of them :103-

Personally I can't stand seeing shotss of these guys smiling as they confiscated all those cool old slot machines. I think it's depressing... why would I want THAT picture?  :25-

I noticed today eBay gave me 150 free listings this month. Not sure if that's been going on every month or what...

Roz,  That is why you have all those nice sets of reel strips there.  They are good ones and quality and orginal at that.  Good stuff -- :89-.

Yah, most everything listed (all but one set i think) are nice, brand new sets. I didnt bother listing any of the junk sets in the lot. Its a funky mix of oddball games, but hopefully it can help someone out. One round on eBay, then they will be added to our website.

If you have weird and wonderful stuff.... I am looking for the Belly Glass (and perhaps a 9" topglass) for a game called Crazy Clawfish. It is a clone kit for an S+ made by AC Coin.
The graphics are close to what Lobster Larry looks like - except this is a crab. The game is a haywire clone.

I bought this as my first ever "kit" when I got my first S+ and have never come across the belly glass. I got the 16" topglass, strips and chips.

All of my other kits that I have collected since I have managed to get both 9" and 16" top glass + belly. I do have a number of generic bellys that I can use with the kit but it would be nice to complete the set.

You can also just include -sellersname in the search-bar. i.e. IGT -selleriwanttoblock

See my post above. Just use multiple -xxxx in the search like this

slot machine -laptop -nintendo -skill -bally -mills

Then save the search. You can use seller names too.

Ok, using the advanced "exclude" method you used earlier, just put multiple sellers on the line with a space between them.

Good tip Poppo, I knew you could exclude certain keywords but not sellers names in the search bar also.  :259-
You guys can save your searches once you have them set up as Poppo suggested. I have searches set up for multiple keywords at the same time, not for slots but for a different hobby. Anyway, If you put multiple words in parentheses with commas in between and it will pick out items that contain just one of those words in the title. for example; (IGT, S2000, game king, Vision). You could then add a subtraction of keywords (and as I learned today sellers names), for example; (IGT, S2000, Game King, Vision) -comparitor -3802 -crappysellerID.
Maybe you know this already but I'm posting it for those who may not. Now I just have to figure out which seller you guys are talking about, because I have no idea.  :103-

Ah, so the picture above is from the seller, got it. I don't know of this seller but I'll keep an eye out. I rarely search for slot stuff on eBay and what little I have wanted I bought here on NLG.

I feel a little foolish. I can't find any of the BW photos everyone's talking about. I started in the slot replacement parts category (Roz's strips are at the top) but also looked in "machines," "manuals," and "other." I'm sorted by ending soonest.

Would someone post an auction link? No need to name the seller here.

This guy is listing the same (repro) photo with different titles for different prices at the same time. That sure goes a long way towards instilling trust in the seller's honesty.

I agree. It's doubly sad when they are destroyed for lack of space and a willing buyer. And the willing buyer always seems to show up a week after the machine(s) were destroyed after they had gone years without an inquiry.

Man, I remember many box truck loads of EM pinballs going to the dump when we were upgrading our amusement game routes in the early 1980's.  Then mid 80's, we must have taken over 100 Pac Man games and other early video titles to the dump.  What is fu7nny, we are still taking loads of machines to the dump when the route warehouse gets full.  But now, I always look at the stuff, knowing 30 years from now we will regret throwing it away.

Why don't route operators, et.al., sell games they're done with on the secondary market? Games that failed to sell would still end up going to the dump, but not all of them.

Sell as-is, no returns or warranty. Make a last bit of money off the game and give it a new home and life. It seems to me that it would be a win-win.

over the years, i cant even count all the games ive broken up to be put in a dumpster to make room for new machines in the warehouse.  i saved dozens of old school backglass from a horrible fate which i still have packed away to this day. i coudlnt get myself to smash the backglasses. 

For us, and most other route operators, I think it's just the time the logistics would take to resell these surplus games.  On some occasions, especially with the 1990's Williams Pinballs, they are too valuuable to dump.  We do take the time to sell them completely as-is on Ebay.  But sadly, it often comes back to bite.  Even though the surplus is sold as-is, people, come back complaining, and wanting free repairs for life.

It's just easier, and without obstruction, that keeps us taking things to the dump.  I must say, I do NOT like dumping this stuff, makes me feel wasteful, and sad, thinking about how cool thye stuff is now that we dumped in 1980.

On a good note, there are a few collectors that have proven to me understanding that we just need the stuff gone, and will offer them games from time to time, but they can only absorb so much.

These days, it's older cranes, and 1990's video games, and a few old C.D Jukeboxes that find their way to the dump.

i remember back in the late 80s my boss at the time had me break up a bally paragon pinball machine.   i wanted to take it for myself but i still lived at home then and my mother wasnt having it.   it broke my heart to destroy that machine. such a great pinball machine from the 1970s.

we take ours to scrap yard , they helped unload a few trailers, so I give the metal for free  , better than paying dump fee

Same here, scrap for metal. We get approx $12-14 for the stripped cabinets. Had a junk metal/scrapguy come pick a 8-10 cabinets one time and he called us every week for like 2 months after that wanting to know if we had anymore...

Haha, anything to stir up the old RGP Pinball group is fun.  Actually, the RGP group has tamed way down, and the resident troll frankfurter has been kicked to tyhe sideline.  Nice place to go again, but most of the pinball discussion seems to remain at Pinside.com.

BTW, if you are wondering what the RGP is, it's a Google Group called Rec. Games pinball.  Was the most popular site for years, until too much bickering and slandering entered the scene, so may people chose the moderated Pinside site forums.

frank is a wack job  but at times he had right  answers  , when we went to York pinball show some of those rgp guys had name tags on  I told them I have great price for that group 25% higher than public
