Title: Game Change - Do I need a new Game prom? Post by: nipsmg on January 27, 2014, 10:43:00 AM I've got a S+ 5x pay, Game Prom 731, Reel prom 6273. I am going to pick up a reel prom for Double Jackpot Haywire. Do I need a new game prom too?
Also, in looking at the options for the 731 chip, it seems to have very few, and many require the set chip to set. Is there any harm in upgrading the game prom to one with more options even if I stuck with the 5x pay? If not, what game prom do you recommend? The five times pay takes a type 0 game chip, the haywire uses a type 2. I would go with a sp1274 in place of your sp731.
if you want more options with the five times you could switch your sp731 to a sp1271. hope this helps. |
