Title: Lobstermania Touch Screen Issue.
Post by: montech on February 13, 2014, 08:46:02 PM
Ok new one on me. I touch the screen with my right hand and it works only when my left hand is grounded. Do I have a bad connection in the game side of the beau plug? It happens even if I switch monitors.

Any input appreciated.

I only have 2 of the Igame machines . Some people that play them  have to touch the chrome and others do not . I never have to touch the chrome and my mom does . maybe its your shoes or hand lotion . hard to say . Do other people have the same problem if they play or is it you . Its funny you posted this as the last time i was in Las Vegas a woman was almost beating the screen to make the bonus round pick work . I walked up to her as i could tell she was getting very irritated that the screen did not register her pick . I told her to put her hand on the chrome deck and WA LA  it worked she thanked me and said the casino was lucky to have me . I just smiled at her and nodded . LOL I was on vacation and do not work there or any casino  P.B

If this is a reel touch.... There is a ground strap on the the upper right corner of the touch screen assy that many people leave off if they have removed or replaced the Assy.

No touch screen unless part of your hand is touching the deck panel?

Make sure you have a good ground (third lug) on the A-C plug and / or extension cord and the outlet. I've run into the same problem on IGT and Williams touch screens on several service calls.
