Title: Does Anyone Have a Fortune 1 Black Jack Game? Post by: RiseLikeRa on February 22, 2014, 03:18:26 PM Group:
It is official. I am addicted to the Fortune 1 games. I have a nice jokers wild poker and in my manual I saw a mention of a Black Jack game. Does anyone here have one of these black jacks? If you have one can you share a picture and your experiences. Is it worth getting one? If it is a viable machine where do I look for one? I got it bad! I have a Credit Draw Poker, and I think it's a Joker Poker. Gary Title: Re: Does Anyone Have a Fortune 1 Black Jack Game? Post by: RiseLikeRa on February 23, 2014, 07:54:23 AM Thank you Gary. If we can feed each other's addictions then who can? Lol. I love this forum and the people that I have met here. What a great blessing.

I wish I lived in the LV area. I see so many games pop up there. This one looks like what I am looking for however there must have been an earthquake when the picture was snapped. Also there is no real write up about the machine. Where I am from, out east, that spells trouble. If someone does not even take the time to post a decent picture of what they are trying to get you to part with your hard earned money for that is a BIG red flag. 1 fuzzy pic. no inside shot, no reference to cabinet condition. Mint is not always mint. I have found the people who take pride in their possessions want to share and speak about their items. IF it is in great shape then for me the price is right. I would then have to get it crated and shiipped to me. Not a deal breaker at all just and added expense. What has your experience been? Ra Title: Re: Does Anyone Have a Fortune 1 Black Jack Game? Post by: CVslots on February 23, 2014, 03:06:24 PM CV: What has your experience been? Ra We have found many GEMS that were overlooked because of fuzzy pics, wrong descriptions, etc. As far as "taking pride", many of these listings are by the kids and the grandkids of the original owners...they think the machine is next to worthless (look at the price), old, and outdated, and are just getting rid of it because they don't play it and are tired of looking at it, even though it was dad's or grandpa's. There is no emotion attached to the machine, therefore, no care put into the listing. If it was what I wanted, I'd be contacting the seller ASAP for more pics! If it was what I wanted, I'd be contacting the seller ASAP for more pics! You absolutely correct. I DID contact the seller. No response yet but now I am optomistic. Thanks Ra Title: Re: Does Anyone Have a Fortune 1 Black Jack Game? Post by: CVslots on February 23, 2014, 09:58:03 PM We picked up a Mills 4 Bells Console machine that was the crappiest listing ever on CL. They had taken a machine that was for sale in another state (MA or MD, cant remember) and used the pic AND the exact text of the ad to sell it their machine in CA! They only changed the phone number...now THAT is lazy... :72-

I asked some questions about the operation and pay out of the machine but just got pictures. I wish I had someone who could put eyes on this one for me in the Las Vegas area.

Post by: CVslots on February 24, 2014, 02:01:19 PM If he is willing to crate or and ship it, I'd be all over it personally. That's one of the rarest games, and to find one operational, it's a no brainer. You've fixed a few games already, and I'm sure the others here can help you figure out whatever it wrong with it.

With the help of a trusted NLG pal and my distant cousin, my Fortune Black Jack game arrived last night. It seemed to be in pretty good shape. Although listed at mint it needed a good cleaning, door lock, rubber agitator for the hopper and a vent fan door. I installed a lock and the agitator almost immediately. The game had over $3.00 worth of coins rolling around in its guts. I think that I found them all, I hope. I played the game for a while and it seemd VERY generous. I am no super balckjack player but I cleaned it out! No wonder this sucker was mothballed by a casino. lol. Now I have to decide which one of my Bally EM's to sell to make room for the new addition to the family. Decisions decisions... Ra |
