Hi -

I picked up a Black and White 5-line Double Jackpot machine.  It's apparently a progressive machine but the progressive box/display has been removed and a large "2500" label is displayed in the progressive window.  Since I don't have the progressive box/display, I'd like to set this machine up without progressive, however, when I tested the payout of the "Double Jackpot" reel stops going from lower left to lower right, the payout is supposed to be the progressive jackpot.  The payout test does indicate JP1.  Since I don't have a progressive jackpot what would happen if this particular jackpot hits?  Is there a way to get the machine to just payout 2500 like the label in the progressive window indicates? 

The personality ID is 6980.  I checked and there is a chip in Jackpot1 Relay ISO 1.

Just go into the 11D menu and change the below settings and it will eliminate the progressive and just pay out max credits on a jackpot hit.

02=0
07=0
06=0
78Lo=0

Thanks for the reply.   The only one I had to change was 78Lo.  Others were already set to 0.  I made this change and tested the jackpot hit again.  I put 5 credits on and the payout test still says JP1.  Should it indicate JP1 or the max payout for 5th coin, which I believe is 10,000??

It probably will just have JP1 because there is not enough display digits to show 10000. The display will only go to 9999

and jp1 would be the number pasted in window 10,000 coins is too high for 5 quarters

Right Steve, 2500 in the display window is correct (not to mention that it looks great too!).  I just wasn't expecting to see 'JP1' in the payout test since that was the only way I could test the progressive (5th line) payout.  Thanks-

I just looked at some pic s of same game one had 2500 other did have 10,000 looks like one with 2500 is holding more for the house

I think it just depends on the denomination of the machine.  Mine is $0.25 so 10,000 credits would be $2,500.  Maybe the one that you saw that had $10,000 was a dollar denomination  or were you just referring to credit payout???

no it was 25 cents also both games were 25 cents  I only have pic s both  games are long gone

credits are credits, doesn't matter the denomination of the machine. Your win and credit displays on the machine are in credits. The progressive display will be in dollars. Most of the Black & White  and Double Jackpot blazing sevens 5 lines I have seen are 10,000 jackpot credit wins.

I understand that but the progressive display is always in dollars.  My progressive window display shows $2500.   My glass just says 'pays progressive'.   No where does it say 10,000.   My point was that if the denomination of my machine was a dollar and the progressive window shows a dollar amount then it would need to say $10,000

Right.... max jackpot is 10,000 credits so if for machine is $1.00 it should say $10,000. If it is setup as a .25 machine it would have $2500 in the progressive display.

Anyways getting back to your original post. If you have a $2500 label in the progressive window, the only way to get it to match the labeled payout is for it to be a .25 machine.

yep, it's a .25 machine so I'm good.  My concern was the payout test, which seems to be correct too

Does the machine pay-out according to the award glass?

Yes, it did for my tests.  The only thing I couldn't verify was the jackpot for the 5th line. 

I guess I'll only find out for sure when it hits for real
