Have you checked the connections & wiring to the optics? The optic board itself may also have an issue. Have you cleaned the coin-in optics? Use a QTip dampened with water and dry with another QTip. Those are the places that I'd start. Can you swap the optic board with a known good one to test?
Title: Re: How do You clear a Code 24 Coin Reverse??? 5500 Post by: AcePeter on April 27, 2009, 11:19:48 PM It's a 5¢ machine ( I think the 5¢ optic is BAD ) I just now used a 25¢ optic that I know works and it cleared the 24 and worked until I got a 20 Error code. You think it's maybe because I was feeding it nickles it made that 20 ( COIN JAM) code? :103-
