Pull the MPU board out .. there should be two banks of dip switches (red base with white switches) towards the front of the board .. about 3 to 4 inches from the left. I think one closest to the front of the board is JW3. I found a gray panel on the piggy back board marked SW2 which has numbers from 1 through 8. The panel has small holes by each number with a wire running through it. I don't see a way of moving or disconnecting the wire without cutting it.

I had the crazy reels spin and moved the switch and it became "normal"

I did it when I did clear & set it up. I'll try it on another & see if it works

Haywire (I Think) is the only IGT game that has the crazy reels, not the mystery reel on other IGT games however.
