Since we will have several different games for the 550 before we upgrade just wondering if it is difficult or impossible to switch back and forth between playing chip sets for the 550 to SD cards for the NXT?

The upgrade to NXT involves the change of the processor board and some wiring related to the power supply. If you keep both boards and you know what you're doing, it won't be dificult to go back and forth between platforms. Cheers.
