Title: Game King meter disconected by short in comparitor. Post by: memusa on May 15, 2009, 03:04:51 PM Well here's the story, someone saw the red wire loose in the comparitor CC-16D, so he decided to place the wire inside the black wire too.... :79-. as soon as he did this the typical smell of something burning appears in the machine :37-.
So after looking the IO boards, one of them has a burn trace, which I repair. But the thing is that now on screen appears meter disconected, coin in jam, coin in sequence, hopper malfunction player paid (amount of coin increments) ..... can it get worse? :50- :50- :50- :50- The IO boards I already installed them in another machine and they work just fine, the problem is in the processor board cause as soon as I power on the machine the change, cash out and hold 2 keys light up. The board its a 7570380 and clear procedure didn't fix the problem. Any :99- Thanks in advance. Title: Re: Game King meter disconected by short in comparitor. Title: Re: Game King meter disconected by short in comparitor. Post by: memusa on May 15, 2009, 08:57:13 PM Thanks for your suggestions, as soon as I get the spare parts I'll replace those ICs and let you know if they work. In the mean time just for illustration U72 is a 75453N .... U73 is a MC14081CP and U74 is a MC14001BCP. Those ICs look fine, with no exterior damage on them.....
Thanks for your help Title: Re: Game King meter disconected by short in comparitor. Post by: kforeman on June 25, 2009, 01:31:45 AM could also be the motherboard got toasted!
