The electroluminescent ones are the coolest, but I think there's a minimum order.  I forget exactly where they were purchased from, but some of the members here might have some extra ones that they may want to sell.

I purchased the regular ones brand new, they were in fact drop shipped from sunkist graphics, from this guy.  He was pretty cool to deal with about 2 years ago.

I think they are only for the S2000 as I recall.  The voltage in the S+ won't work with these.

at the time it was the last one he had.

You are right.  I just checked one I had and it works off of 110V so no problem using it on an S+.

I thought they were designed for the S+, no?  I know it was plug-and-play in my S+ with no modification needed.

When you say plug and pray.... did you have to drill a hole in the door ? and did you steal the 110 from the belly florescent, if so was there a inline connector provided or was this a mod ?

No $1 in Jersey allowed, $5 is the smallest, now on the other hand, there are places that allow max of a $20 such as WV Lottery

also, there is no need to drill any hole in the door, the connection is made via a flat ribbon cable that is fed through the bezel opening, it is made into the decal, when installed correctly you can't see it, and connects right inside the door to the control box, the 110 is picked up on a S+ at the back of the power supply (Right Rear Corner), on a S-2000 off the Power Dist Box in the center of the back wall (behind the hopper), the control signal is picked up from the BV entry bezel light bulbs

Sorry to hear about some problems you had before. Not long ago I was trying to locate a round top box for a S-plus machine with many negative results. I  thought I had one from one of the major vendors in California. The person stated he had one for $75.00, NO PROBLEM LETS SEND IT OUT. This person stated it would take a few weeks as they were moving their location, NO PROBLEM I'LL WAIT. After a few weeks and no call backs I waited. approximately seven weeks later I called and a person answered the the phone, wife or girlfriend ? She advised they were out of the round top boxes a long time ago. Just lately a call was placed to Darell at SLOTS FOR HOME. He advised he had a complete round top box with hardware for less than $75.00 and I was very well pleased when it arrived. Last night I checked my email and noticed Darell sent me a note. He stated a front door sticker is on its way to you at no charge, Way can I say ? I just want to thank all the members that tried to help me out with my request.

So did you ever get it?  It doesn't sound like you did.  Have you ever found one?

As Jim said, no holes required, and it came with a 110 plug that plugs directly into the S+ power supply.  No modification of any kind required.  It was a very easy install, and I'm very pleased with the results.



 :97-   Sounds like something they'd do, but pinballmike said he was dealing with a vendor in California.  WWG is in Minnesota.

Yep, that's the "version 2" of the software where the "This Machine Accepts" stays lit up.  On the "version 1" software, each thing lit up and turned off in sequence.




Yes and no.  I've heard from others that they now require a minimum quantity order, but nobody seems to know what that minimum is.  Here's info from the September 2007 thread about the things from the old site:

Oh, the flat ribbon goes right behind the edge of the DBV plastics on the door...
you have to remove the faceplate and bend the ribbon cable around into the door then re-install the DBV faceplate.

If anyone needs the slower version of the software like in Ron's demo above PM me.  These were custom programmed by the manufacturer for us and I have 2 of them I'm not using.

I haven't actually changed by DBVs out for Canadian WBA's yet.

Be aware that if you have an IGT original LED lighted BV bezel these will not work with this device.  It relies on the bulb type socket to turn the unit on and off during play.  You can overcome this by opening up the driver box and adding a jumper (to pin 3 I believe) to make it function all the time.   The intensity of the light does fade over time with use, so if you get them buy extra decals.  They come in 3 colors too.

Very good info to know. I have two little bulbs in mine that just take a small turn to remove.

 :88- OK so, so far here's the deal.

I talked to a very nice lady, her name is Alma.  I gave her the part number listed here (10346-7000) and she checked and the last time they were actually sold was in 2002 to Dynasty Games and also Allison Novelties, Inc.  I haven't been able to find any information about either one of those companies just yet.  Heck, I'm still on my first cup of morning coffee.  :97- 

So (back on track) Alma was going to see if they still had everything needed to make these, she found the software but was going to make sure they had thestuff it took to make them again.  She asked me how many I wanted and I told her that I heard they had to be bought in bulk and I told her I would think 50 of them but I wasn't sure yet.  The only problem I can see is that I don't know if 50 could be sold or it they will require more to be bought because they have to dig everything out of the archive.  Also, since I'm not with a company they might not sell to me.

Anyway, I also don't know yet if we would have to supply our own power and ribbon or not. :103-  I guess you'll know when I know.

We bought these about 2 years ago, so 2002 is not correct.  I don't think you are in touch with the correct company.  I'll look and see if I have any documentation on these when I get home this evening.

Thanks for the information.  I will try calling them and see what they say and see if they have any complete units for sale or not. 

I too might jump on the buying spree bandwagon for one - if I can get everything needed all at one time.

The controller box says ADD VISION INC.  You can google them to find out what the latest prices are.  iGraphics was the original manufacturer but they sold the rights to ADD VISION INC.

OK I ws gone all day yesterday but did get a phone call from Alma with a price quote.  I don't know if they come with the power supply or not because I have not had a chance to call her back yet. 

She said the minimun order is 20 of each individual style but again I don't know if we have to order all three styles or if we can just order the one style.  The price is $10 dollars each.  At that price I don't know if they would come with power supplies.  I'm wondering if someone could make a power supply that would work or if someone has a power supply and can get me a model number to do some searching??

I will try to give her another call today and get more detailed information, sorry, just been kind of busy.

What I need to know at this point is how many is needed.  If we can't get at least 20 then this is all moot.

Jim, thanks for that pic.  I think my favorite is the black and yellow but I think the blue and white would look good on Crystal 7.  I have to go deal with the tires on my truck now but hopefully I can call her while I am waiting for Americas Tire to get around to dealing with me.  I'll post more when I know more.

I tried to power up the display?..lol..they take high voltage  450V+ i tried with my little power inverter from my dual 12"CCFL.guess what not enough ball to power up just one little small $1 light area.. :149-

It would appear to me that the programming is in that eprom and may be controlled by the jumpers...
It would be neat if someone could get into it and figure out the contents of the eprom and make some desired changes.
However, one would also need to know what the jumpers do...
I wonder if anyone could locate the guy who programmed it?
One thing for sure, he/she doesn't work for the "ADD-VISION" company anymore....

yeah,high voltage converter...that eprom look like do more then just for timer light control? communicate with the machine too? lol.

That chip does control the timing of how the sticker lights up.  We paid igraphics to reprogram the chip to our custom timing since it was much too fast. 

To add to idesign post the chip they used is a PIC16C55A.

I was told that it (the chip) is "protected" and the information on the jumpers functions is somewhat sketchy at best...

OK, good news, good news.   :3- :3-

I called Alma again this morning (and let me add she is one very nice person) and left her a message.  She called me back and I got information ya'all will be interested in.  :71-  Here is what I found out.

• The price of $10 each includes the controller, in other words, according to Alma it is everything you need to work the unit; sticker and controller,
• The order has to be a minimum of 20 units,
• There are three designs to choose from, it does not have to be 20 units of each color.

 

So at this point I am thinking of ordering like 10 of each one of them and having them send to me.  I suppose if I do this, I should start a new thread, here in the classifieds section, so everyone can see that this will be up for sale.  Oh and as an added note, I am sure I will be charged shipping for these so your total cost would be a little more than $10 each unit plus your shipping cost.

So is it worth it for me to invest time and money into this for you guys?

Good points Jay. I'm leaning towards the yellow ones as well, and would be interested to know if we can get extra strips, although it looks like Jim has plenty of them -- as long his use the same controllers.

You guys do realize that the color when lit up is different than when they are not lit.  The Yellow is Green as I recall.  Also, Jim at Blueridge has a ton of spare stickers if you need spares.

In my message this evening to her I also asked her for a price quote on 120 of these units so I can get an idea of how much a total unit will cost.  I know I said that she said the unit was $10 bucks but remember I have to add a little bit for shipping and then shipping to you. 

I also asked if these were fast flashing or slow flashing, and also wanted to make sure that the $10 she quoted was for everything it took to make these work.  Did I forget anything or is there something else I need to ask??


I know that people have been chiming in to get 1 or 2 or 5 or 10 and I think it's great that we can do this, but what I am not getting is that style you want.  There are three styles to choose from, again, as posted on BlueRidgeSlots photo in an earlier post.  Please do me a favor and send me a PM letting me know how many and what color you want.  If I don't get a color from you I will assume you want the classic black background with yellow lettering.  You know what they say about assuming......  :72-

I haven't used mine lately but I believe the black/white and blue/white are blue when lit.  Someone please correct me if I am wrong on this.

Don't know on those Jeff but I do recall the yellow being green when lit.

If all this works out you will have to stick you head in the machine to give us the wire hook up to the bill unit

Guess I will jump in and order one kit for a spare, the classic color black with white letters which turns green when lighted. And the slower
light blinking if you can get it.

Fading is not a problem for home owner who do not leave it on 24/7. The first decal I have had since July 06 which was
on it when I got it. Very little differences in brightness with newer ones. You can only tell if you look real close side by side.

For home use, fading shouldn't be much of a problem because
the machine isn't on as long as it is at a 24x7 full-blown casino operation I would think...
So with this in mind, the faster cycle program may be more beneficial for the real casinos?
And the slower, cycled programs for us home guys?

Good morning. :88- Here is an update on the flashing dollar decals.

1.  The flash is 300 milliseconds.  I assume that's the fast flash and not the slow flash since the slow flash was a custom program by Ruben.
2.  They weigh about a pound each.  So after I get them and start mailing them out, I will charge for a pound each on the shipping. 
3.  She is checking to see if the stickers can be bought separately. (Although as it has been mentioned before, some people have just the stickers for sale). :47-
4.  She asked if we dealt with Lisa last time.  Thought that was interesting.  Since I wasn't part of this last time I told her yes because that's what I was told. :89-
5.  She is rechecking (for a third time) to make sure this is all inclusive because I explained that the last time these were bought as a group I understood they cost more. :103-
6.  I estimated 120 units and she is going to get me an estimated shipping cost for that.  Once I get that shipping estimate I will divide it by 120 to get a shipping cost for each unit.  That cost will be added to the purchase price of the unit.  Hopefully I will know today what each unit will cost you, minus shipping to your zip code of course.

That's all I know for now.  I have to call her back in a bit and give her an estimate of how many of each one so they can do inventory and know if they need to make more.  Several members expressed wanting to buy some but didn't give preference to which color scheme they wanted.  Again I will stress that if you don't tell me which color you want, I will assume   you want the black/yellow sticker.

I do use PayPal.  Is it true PayPal charges a commission to accept money now?  That blows!!! :37-  Does anyone know what that charge is?  I am trying to not :98- anyone but I also don't want to get :98- .

Not to hijack this thread or veer it off course, I know ashyron is busy tallying up who wants decals, but how in the hell do you get the old door decal off? It looks like these things have glue on them made to stick forever. Also, can the old decal be used again after it's off, IF it comes off in one piece!!

Use a hair dryer to warm up the adhesive.  It peels off easier that way.  Use goof off to remove the residue left on the machine.  Forget about reusing it.

I get the adhesive off behind the sticker with some type of
glue dis-solver like "Speedy Peel" made by Royal chemicals and
(Comes in big orange can) use a small block of wood to push off the adhesive
when it's softened up. :89-

Someone mentioned their "stock" sticker didn't have the $1 dollar denomination...

Some of the indian casinos don't take $1's and $5's in their machines.. guess that kind of cash it too low $$ for them, they want everyone to fill the boxes up with $20's and tickets

The other side of the coin is represented as well. I have door decal (not currently on a machine) that does not list $50 or $100, only $1 - $20.

Maybe they didn't want you to spend it all in one place. Money is like manure, doesn't help unless you spread it around... it was a nice thought anyway

My S+ doesn't have a ticket printer.

I have never seen a casino S+ with a ticket printer. I am sure its possible as the later game chips accepted EFT and they have a printer port.
I have never seen one in production.

There are a few on this site that have made their own but we are still a long ways off from Ticket in Validation and the ability to print a ticket with a unique bar code.

 :88- :88-  Good morning (of afternoon for those of the East coast.  I just got off the phone with Alma and here is the update I have.

1.  The black and yellow design will be limited to 60 because that is what they have in stock.  So far we are at 40 so that isn't an issue yet. :60-
2.  The chip is socketed in, not soldered.
3.  There is an additional fee for having the slower speed, not sure the price yet but she is hoping to have a price by this evening.
4.  My shipping will be about $70 bucks so the total cost per sticker will be about $10.75 plus shipping to you.  I'm just trying to be fair to everyone. 
5.  With the ribbon, the total length is about 18 inches long.
6.  And FYI Lisa doesn't work there any longer.

Now with that all said, is there anyone that wants to pay the additional fee (not known yet) to have the slower speed? :103-  Also there are a few people that have not told me what style they want.  It's a total of about 20 decals.  Now that there is a limited quantity of the black/yellow decals, I don't know what to do.  I guess I will send a PM to those that didn't specify and ask.    I think I will be extending the order until maybe Wednesday until I get all the information. :89-

Any news from Alma on the stickers , Ashyron?

Put me down for 2 B/W and 2 B/Yellow.

The I+/GK+ has the 3 pin connector empty on the power Dist Box, but if using on a 17" Monitor cabinet the front decal is too long, it is 15 1/2" wide (the Printed part)

The Decal from end to end of ribbon cable is 18 3/4", the unit is about 7" x 4" or so and about 2" thick, plus the harnesses, I used the Priority Box 1095 and curved the decal around and wrapped it well, and then put the unit in bubble, but I only did one at a time, I think I sold a few to guys here if I remember Tim got one, and that was how I sent it to keep the weight to under 2# in the box, also a trick is to get 1095 Priority Boxes and 1092 Priority Boxes, close one end on each and they will fit perfectly inside each other, this is how we send longer lighter items out, also the Large Priority Flat Rate box may be an option, but they will need to be curved and runs 12.95 I think, a deal going from coast to coast as the rates on coast to coast are up there with the post office, I think 3# is about the same as the large flat rate box, and forget Glass, a 16: kit is about $40 now Pri. Mail

I have not heard anything from Alma in a couple days now, :8- you can't count the weekend. :60-  I did leave a message for her yesterday so she is either sick or extremely busy, or both even.  :96-  I am going to try to give her a call here shortly, again, and see if she is in the office.  And just to let you all know, there won't be any more black/yellow stickers available.   I was limited to 60 and we have already surpassed that.


When I called her yesterday I did ask again about the slower speed chip and also if the stickers were sold separately.  I also asked her how long it took to get these one the order was placed.  I hope to have them by the BBQ so Buzz can bring them with him.

OK Alma just called. This is the information I have now. 

1. RickHunter - I CAN put you down for 2 black/yellow and 2 black/white.  The warehouse found 4 more so you're in luck.   :3-
2. The decals are not sold separate.  This is a complete unit, no selling separate parts.
3. The current setup is a 2.7 second loop total flash time.
4. The slower speed is an 11.5 second loop. (I'm sure Ruden could tell you the spec's of it since he is the one that did it.) :103-
5. If there is no change in the setup all I have to do is place the order and I should have them within a 2 or 3 day period.
6. If there IS a change in the sequence (the slower speed chip) then there is an approximate 2-week period so they can be made.
7. The cost to have the slower speed is an additional $6.00 per decal.  (That's kind of steep for me considering the regular one is only $10 bucks)

Since RickHunter took 2 black/yellow stickers, that leaves none available.  We are out of those.  (I kind of forgot to add the two in I wanted originally, oops)  :97-  However, anyone ordering from now on has their choice of the black/white or blue/white decals.  There's plenty of those. 

Alma won't be in the office tomorrow (she told me) so I can't place an order.  I don't have this much funds in my account right now anyway so not an issue.  I'll have to transfer some funds over to cover this.

I'm personally not interested in the slower sequence ones as the "This Machine Accepts" stays lit up and the sticker "wears out" unevenly (with that section fading out first due to it being on more than the other segments).  Although the original version is a little fast, it at least wears evenly on the sticker.

Hello again.  Sorry to take so long writing back.  I have reasons and excuses so which do you want to hear??   :103- :96-

Anyway, the excuse is I have been sick and not able to be online so much, and the reason for not having these decals yet is I wasn't aware Alma was going on vacation.  I found that out last Tuesday while I was in town giving blood.  She has the order on her voice mail because I was hoping to catch her before she left and her @ss.... occiates (that she mentioned on my answering machine) evidently don't check her voice mail nor answer their own.  She will be back tomorrow morning so I will be setting my alarm in order to call her early and get this order taken care of.  I am hoping to have them in time for Buzz to bring them to the BBQ but that's going to depend on when he is leaving compared to when I get them. 

Oh, I was just out making a 7x4x2 block of wood because I ordered some priority mail boxes from USPS and I wanted to make sure these controllers would fit into the box.  I think we have a winner.  It's a triangle box meant for shipping blueprints and whatnot.  I got plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts and packing material, so now just waiting on the product.


That's really the only update I can give.  Oh yea, we are up to 170 of them.

I thought I would post the work that Som did to my s2000.  K+ to Som for hooking this up for me.  I still have to put the decal on the machine but this is the power wiring for it.  I thought I would share.  As far as the S+ goes, it will fit in the molex power down on the bottom right of the machine, however, we could not get it to snap in place.  Here are a couple of pictures from the s2000.

What's the best way to remove the old label?

Heat gun (blow dryer works in a pinch) and Goo Gone or some such adhesive remover to get the rest of the gunk off.

I started at one corner and pulled.  There was some goo left on the machine and I used Goo Gone to get rid ot it.  To be fair though, it was probably 90° in our game room at the time.

I been sick the last couple days and haven't been able to work on these.  I have already had someone else ask me about some too so if you give me a couple more days I should know what I have left over.

I was originally told it would take about 2 extra weeks to redo the chips in the slower ones.  Alma did say they could be ready sooner.  Since I have only had these units for a week I think it's only fair to give them another week before calling and asking about them.  That's why I haven't called.

Questions:  The Blue strips have a really nice gloss finish to them, the Black/white, Yellow Black seem to have a satin clear finish. Is this a protective coating? or do I need to get stronger glasses? :96-
Also, were these decals intended to be covered with the clear protective plexi/lexan cover like the standard decals? If so where can I find some?

I noticed that on these decals too and I checked and I don't see it as a protective film, I think it's just a matte finish.  I don't know if you need a protective covering or not, it seems to me that the electronics are covered with the decal.  I'm glad you got your decals safe and sound.


I got a call from Alma late this afternoon and they put the slow units in the mail today and I should get them on Monday.  Once they get to me I will get them sent out to whomever they belong to.

No I didn't order slower ones but was wondering if they were reworking the code a bit so that the arrow with the text in it does not fade out as quickly as it does.  The longer these stickers stay lit the quicker they fade out and that includes the arrow portion since that is lit up the most on the original slower chip.  That's why it would be good to have extra stickers.   I know that Jim at BlueRidge has extras so get them while he has them.

Is it just a pic that changes it all?  It'd be worthwhile to read the pic's if that's the case, and maybe we can even modify for custom timings?

You can't read that chip for all the code.  It's protected.....so not all the code is read........original or slow version.

My Needhams burner software asks which of 3 different ways to burn it, but not read it.

I did what I could to make sure everything was packaged well because these are electronics and needs protecting.  I think about 8 people got their boxes today, according to USPS.  I just have a couple more and I am all done, then I will know what I have left over.  I think a mixture of fast and slow would be cool in a small game room.

It's great to hear that you are happy with it.  I still have to install one on the Casino Night S+ game.  It works great on the s2000 but the sticker is a little longer than the door is but I don't see an issue with it.

Same here, but mine is on 24/7. Will it really hurt anything? I mean if it comes down to it, the decals themselves can be purchased and replaced. I wonder though if leaving it on all of the time shortens the life of the decal. Personally, I'm a "leave computers on all of the time" type of person, because I lost two computers from turning them on and off all of the time. Both of them ended up having a cracked mother board from constantly heating up and then cooling down. If that scenario plays out with my slot machine, I would rather just leave it on and replace the decal, than replacing a bad mother board from temperature fluctuations. Just my opinion though! I know the "leave it on/turn it off" controversy has mixed opinions.

I agree with Ruden on this one, components have a limited life and leaving the machines on for extended periods of time while not in use wastes this.  If you have motherboard heat problems, perhaps you should look at a better cooling system for it. I like to periodically check my fans and blow out the power supply to make sure they don't overheat.  I do the same for slots, turn off when not in use, I do connect them to a quality surge supressor which is what I use to turn them on and off.

Buzz, you are right, I didn't make any money on this.  I ran out of tape and packing supplies and printer ink. :25- :25-  Yea I opened my mouth about researching it but I can say that I have met, talked to and otherwise conversed with members I have never talked to before. :3-  Besides it made me feel good to actually help this group out with something instead of just taking in all the info I could. :71-  I just got busted putting one up on eBay.  Am curious to know if they will sell or not so I know if I want to buy more later on.  Also, I wrote to the first person that messaged me before all was said and done to see if he still wanted some.  I do have a couple of extras beyond that but for the life of me I I don't remember who else asked.  I don't know just yet what color the decals are yet until I hear from the first guy.

Oh - I totally agree with that statement.  I once sent a PC to my kid in Missouri via USPS.  They dropped it from so high that the heatsink on the cpu yanked the cpu socket right off the motherboard.  The case was tweaked so bad that that one side of the cd-rom was in one slot in the case and the other side was jacked one slot higher.

I bought their insurance but, the USPS paperworked me to death until I gave up...

Rick, thanks for that link.  The problem with those kinds of tokens is that they are .984 tokens so they are slightly larger that a real quarter of .954 or .955.  In an upright machine that's OK but in a slant top machine it's a great way to get them stuck in the escalator mechanism.  We are up to 4 slant top machines now so I will stick with the quarters in that but still on the lookout for the .955 size tokens.

There is a company (or two) that I have an email from that sells a big lot of tokens and I think it was going to run me about $200 for 8000 tokens.  I haven't called yet cause I have been busy with these decals or toppers or glass or my father or the house or, or, or so I haven't had time.  I need to recheck though becuse I am thinking they are the .984 size tokens.

Fortunately I got 401 of them $1 tokens free when I bought the Volcano game.  What  sweet deal that was.  We figured it was about $175 bucks worth of tokens (when I searched for them on eBay.  Just keep your eyes open and eventually a god deal will become available on eBay or here.

Ron  I have a couple of the .984 tokens I tryed them in two different slant top hoppers, S+ and a 5500 they work fine in both.  But I have to ask, why not just change all your machines to a nickel ?

No, the US Post Office has flat rate boxes where you can ship up to 70 lbs in that box.
These tokens weighed 33 lbs boxed up and I wrapped tape around the package three ways.(All six sides) I guess that's a No,No for them.
They said that the box was being held together by the tape and if it was not for the tape wrapped around the package the box would not have held the contents.
We'll if their weight limit is 70 lbs for flat rate and their boxes are cheap single ply cardboard, Yes your going to have to use tape to contain the contents. (By the way the tape used was their own Priority Mail Tape, Not fiberglass strapping tape)
They also tried to say that the box was reconstructed by putting tape on it. To me reconstructed means that you disassemble the box and reconfigure it to a different shape or use two boxes to make one box because the original was too small.
Not the case here, It was an original box that when sealed closed all six sides were square and the package was not bulging from the content inside. Their sole objection with the shipment was the amount of tape used on the package.   :81-
I asked them to put that in writing and they refused to do that also.... SEE here I go, you got me started about the Postal Service again. :7- :107-

Sue them in small claims court and add the full name of the local postmaster in the suit as well as the names of anyone else that you dealt with personally. Bring a copy of the US postal regulations that pertain to these packages to use against them in court, along with the original taped package, of course. I would also bring an identical unused flat-rate envelope and even another identical bag of tokens so that you could prove through live demonstration that the coins fit into the unaltered envelope and that tape was necessary to prevent the envelope from coming apart during shipment.

I had to go to the main post office in town today, while I was there I asked her about your package and she looked it up and told me the same thing the computer did. :25-  She also told me what to do to try to fix this problem.  She said one of us needs to call the post office that deals with your street and tell them to look on the shelf.  The postal woman here was very nice and concerned about it.  It's about time someone was concerned.  Anyway I will call the 800 number and try to get ahold of your local post office when I get up.


I have thought about switching over to nickels but I also though that nickels can be stolen, tokens aren't worth anything, why steal them, LOL  You have about 8000 nickels I can buy from you for a penny each??  Actually, that's still expensive,  :97- :72- :97-  When you coming over to see the game room??  Bring pizza, David and Som too.  Who else is close, LOL

Are those Beligio tokens from the Bellagio (Vegas ?) or are they from a Pachi parlor by the same name ?

I looked at the pictures but really could not determine..... If they are vegas it might be worth getting a bunch.

I don't think the Bellagio used tokens for anything other than Dollar or higher denominated machines.  Besides the Bellagio logo is a "B" not the "RI" (I think it's an I) on the face of the token.  Plus I think that all gaming comissions in the US require all casino tokens to state which casino it's actually from.  Every token I've seen from any of the major hotels, has the name of the city and the hotel it's from.  Even some MGM Grand Detroit nickel token I found in my Mother's WMS 550 cabinet.  I also remember sometime ago when I was playing at Harrah's in St. Louis, that it also had Harrahs St. Louis on the token.  So my money says this is from some kind of pachinko parlor in Japan.

That was my gut instinct too..... I have several HorseShoe Paci tokens and the flip size is in Japanese.
I am working away from home right now but I do have some Beligio Slot Cups and wanted to check out the logo to see if they matched.

I'd love to meet the person who steals any amount of nickles of considerable value from your slot machines and is able to walk away with them...  :)

My axiom has always been that anyone that I would trust enough to see and play my machines wouldn't steal from me. I was proven right when I cashed in the $2250 in quarters (9000) and $100 in nickels (2000) that were in my machines earlier this year.

In the fourteen years that I've had slot cash around the house, I found that I had lost only eight quarters and had actually gained one nickel. Three of those quarters were lost when I moved eight years ago and the other five may still be around somewhere under the stands or hidden in the machines. My friends' kids have played my machines over the years, and they have ranged in age from three to thirteen. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they hadn't taken anything. :71-

so I went with the Black/White combo on my 5X Pay Deluxe it looks Great! Took me about 30 minutes to mount it all. :89-

Others here have stated that these decals will fade with time if left with power on all the time. This has concerned me since I'm one of those people who leave the S+ machines on all the time.  I believe I have come up with a very easy solution. When I'm done playing my machine, (but I want it left  powered up) I insert a new generation II (Color) $5.00 bill into the bill validator. Since their is no up-date to the new $5.00 it spits it out. I just leave it hanging out of the validator. This turns off the power to the new illuminated decal. Thus saving and extending the life of the illumination.

You could also press the "Bet One" button and just leave it there - don't spin.  This would turn off the bill acceptor light because you are in the middle of a game/spin and would save you $5...lol.  You will just have to complete that game when you come back to the machine....

Dan I was going to post this very same thing, but thought I should check first. I tryed 3 Game Kings, hit bet 1 once,  BV light stayed on, tryed same thing with a S+, same results

Maybe it's when you press "Bet One" 2 or 3 times to get it to the max bet then...can you try that?  I no longer have a S+ machine to test.  I thought at some point it went out before spinning....hmmm....

If left on all the time the light will be about 1/2 as bright within a year.  It will continue to decline over time until the glow is barely visible.  It never actually Burns out, but it dims to a point where it's not really visible.  Since the sticker cycles throught the numbers and everything is not lit up permanently, it will last longer, but they do eventually fade out.  The thing to get now are spare stickers (without the control box).  Does anybody know how much they are?

OK,if the sticker were in the casino for 1 year? imagine all the hand,oil,grease,Cleaner fluid,cleaning guys?Smoker etc,abuse? the sticker will get yellow fast,fade out from the display face plate outside not from the light inside?..he he..correct me if my crystal ball is wrong...

yes,will come on all the time!!! but if you have both jumper moved and BV interface hooked up then you have the sticker light when you are playing(opposite)

bunker: i did tried all the jumper before!! i mention in the older posted! none did any thing except one?? i was messing around inside just tried to find the way to slow down the display......

So without cutting the end of the cord off and putting on a wall plug, is there a place to plug this in to a Game King? :103-  It looks great on the machine but I have no idea where to plug it in at.  I am thinking I have to cut the end off and put a regular plug on it and plug it in that way.  I suppose I better post a picture of the inside of the machine unless I can get Som out here to check it for me.  Som, where are you??? :99- I'll post a pic when I get home.
