Title: S+ Volume
Post by: Jake777 on June 04, 2009, 09:44:42 PM
HI All
Haven't been active for awhile, but have been in the background reading.  I just got my new Hot Peppers machine and I would like to adjust the volume up. I did some searches on the site and now know I have a 16mhz board with no Blue knob. Other mentioned that it is controled from the menus, but didn't really explain the process very well. Might have to walk this newbee through step by step. Any help would be appreciated

Do you know what Sp(game) chip you have?  these are the sp1272 settings

Group 2 -- Page Zero Options
To change the option setting, press the Spin Reels button.  To move to the next page zero option, turn the jackpot reset key.  To move to Group 3 at any time within the zero pages, press the self test button.
Reel-Spin Sound <0> [2]   Options are reel-spin tones and reel-stop sounds {0} or reel-spin tones only {1}.
Volume Control <0> [3]   Sets the volume for all sounds and music produced by the sound generator (for the reel game).  Options range from loudest volume level {1} to lowest volume level {9}.

Good luck,
Wayne

you will have to press the white test button until a 2 0 comes in the display then turn the reset key until it's 2 3.

Thanks for the info and help, I did manage to get to the volume setting after a few tries. The volume seemed low against my other machines but it was at a (1) setting. It did get softer when I increment it up. Thanks again and + kara to you.
