Title: COIN COMPARITOR Post by: Blackalkmy on June 08, 2009, 03:07:14 AM My coin comparator will not count coins, it only bypasses the coins into the coin tray. The wires that connect the comparator to the comparator holder are old and very brittle and are broken. I don't know the positions where the wires go back to. If I could find the harness that connects the whole coin shoot, including the wire that connects the coin comparator, this would solve my problem. I've looked around the local electronics store around my area and can not find the socket and pins to reconnect the coin comparitor. Even if I did find these parts I would still need to know which position to place each wire in the socket to connect the coin comparitor. Can you please point me in the direction of where I can purchase these parts?
Slot Machine: IGT Model# 3536CI Date MFG: Jan. 1992 Wiring Harness: 600I8100 A ESAM 12/91 connects to Coin Comparitor wires and then Coin Comparitor Serial # 328458 cc-16-D :59- Title: Re: COIN COMPARITOR Post by: jay on June 08, 2009, 08:56:24 AM You have an IGT S+, and you use large coins - Ie Dollars.
It would be easier to get a new wiring harness than try and get the connector. Any of the vendors on our main page would be happy to send you one. May I suggest April at Leeman Slot Sales or Jim at Blueridge. Wayne at GTA slots is an excellent resource if you happen to be in Canada. You can probably find a S+ manual in the UPLOAD a new File section. Title: Re: COIN COMPARITOR Post by: dolson on September 12, 2011, 12:33:59 AM does some one have a pic of the coin comparitor harness for an S+ they can post. the 3 pin connector, I need to see the order of wires, I know its yellow, black, purple, just dont know if the yellow goes on the triangle side of the connector that makes it a directional connector or the flat side of the connector. I believe yellow is flat side and purple is triangle side
