I appreciate any answer A "type" in this case refers to the features that the game chip SP611 supports. A detailed description can be found on our newbie faq here: http://www.newlifegames.net/spset/gametypes.htm (http://www.newlifegames.net/spset/gametypes.htm) IDO22 is the Bill Validator Protocol ID that this game chip supports. Newer SP chips support IDO023. There were also 16Mhz boards made later in the S+ run that require certain SP chips that were designed for those boards.
