Title: 1997 wheel of forune Post by: delma on June 25, 2009, 09:40:51 PM Hello New Life Game Pals!
I need some help! I have a 1997 wheel of fortune video slot machine that has both coin and bill acceptor. I don't want to use the coin acceptor at all, only the bill acceptor however, I cannot clear the machine unless I run nickle coins through the coin acceptor. If the machine shows a credit of 200, I have to run 200 nickles through the coin acceptor to clear it out. Further, I cannot get the sound to come on. The sound button is on in the set-up screen however, no sound comes out of it. Other than that, everything else is fine. Can anyone please help me? One common fix is to set the HandPay amout to either 0 (if allowed) or 1. So once you get a paid win, you need to use a jackpot reset key to clear. What others have done is to remove the button or the button lead to the cash out button so you are permanetly on credits. Thanks, Wayne Title: Re: 1997 wheel of forune Post by: StatFreak on June 26, 2009, 12:54:28 AM MODERATOR: MERGED RESPONSES FROM THREE IDENTICAL POSTS AND DELETED DUPLICATE TOPICS.

The only option would be to get a roll of nickels from the bank and dump them in the hopper and run them through 5 times (5X40=200) or do a RAM clear to remove the credits. Of course you'll have to re-setup the machine once that's done.
As far as the sound, it may be turned off and can't be turned back on until you have 0 credits on the machine or I can't remember if that game uses a sound board or not but it could be missing.
