Title: CRT Test & Refurb set-up question
Post by: rslots on June 26, 2009, 12:40:30 AM
I have a Kristel 17" monitor from  Williams 550 slot and it has a Philips CRT with number beginning with M41EE and My set-up chart for my BK 470 does not list it.  It uses a #31 adapter but not sure where to set the heater and G1 voltage.  Anyone have information on this model or know where it can be found.  I suspect it came out after my set-up book was published but BK no longer supports so they were no help with any book updates.  Any help is appreciated.

Do you know the whole tube number?

In general, the whole M41xxxxxx series tubes use mostly CR-23 adapters (for 29mm diameter necks) with some using CR70 and CR71. I don't see any using CR31 which is for the 22.5 mm diameter necks.

Appears that 6.3 volt heater and 50 volt G1 would be the settings to use.

Thanks for the reply.  Turns out that you are correct in that 6.3V heater and 50V G1 is what is needed.  Got it all refurbed and lookin good.  Thanks
