Title: BILL VALIDATOR COMM FAILURE
Post by: MrBellMan on June 27, 2009, 02:11:23 PM
I get this message every time I turn on my Cleopatra S2000 game. To clear it I simply open and closed the main door and it goes away.  :103-

Does someone here know why it might be doing this and how to permanently fix the issue?

Thanks,

Rob

Is it a JCM WBA or MEI Cash Flow ?

The BV has WBA on it.

If a WBA-10/11 enough said, change to 12/13, if 12/13 now, could be software version, also check to see if all dipswitches all off, doubt these but, possible connection at harness, weak power supply, weak cap in BV transport, harness on BV, cashbox switch wired in circuit, cash box door micro switch, but first I would try with a known good unit from another game to determine if game or BV itself to start, also, try reconfiguring netplex devices in menu

I had that problem awhile back, but in my machine it would eventually do it again even when the machine was sitting idle.  I swapped out everything I could think of.  The only thing left was the motherboard and ever since I swapped that out the problem disappeared.
