Title: Bally S 6000 error code 814A Post by: clown2948 on June 29, 2009, 08:40:15 PM I just installed new chips U18 and U20. Tried to do a safe ram clear but I get a 814 A code and all my buttons blink . What should i do. This game is a double money 3 coin 1 pay line game. It is a S 6000 made is 2003.

If these are ok, try other personality chips, or these chips in another machine and mainboard. You can use a working machine as a test mule for the current board also. Be sure to check the pins at the backplane board connectors to make sure none are bent also.
