From there, you need to find a CPUNXT Conversion board. Additionally, you need the proper power harness to ensure reliablility. I have seen fully loaded boards in the last 30 days for about $1800, the power harness is probably less than $40. If I see anything come up, I will put you in touch with the seller.

First I want to make the explanation which I am not an expert in the subject, I am in the learning stage, reason why I do not have an ample knowledge in the subject. The game machine that I want to modify is not Williams, if it wants to see it this is the direction: http://www.innovation-games.com/esp/productos_pagamonedas_prime.htm (http://www.innovation-games.com/esp/productos_pagamonedas_prime.htm) I do not know very clearly that pieces I must buy to turn it a WMS NXT or a WMS 550, I believe that it would need almost all the pieces except the monitor, bill Validator and coin selector. Title: Re: Conversion Kit Williams CPU-NXT Post by: rickhunter on July 02, 2009, 07:17:04 PM You cannot buy the "Prime" machine. If you want to run Williams NXT software, you must buy a williams machine, or at least a cabinet with WMS hardware on it. The site you list has the 550 and the 360 with the nxt conversion available. Yes, they are expensive, but you cannot just buy any brand hardware and have it run the WMS NXT software. This is all proprietary hardware and it must match for it to work right. If you are not knowledgeable on these platforms, I suggest you spend the extra money and buy a complete solution. And for the record, your assumption of buying nearly all the pieces is correct, but you exclude the Validator (depending on the brand and software ID type, you may need to change that too), coin selector (the NXT software only supports MC-40 and X10 coin acceptor, and it must have the right firmware on it), and the monitor (here again, the touchscreen interface must be WMS compatible, not everyone uses the same firmware, if your monitor does not use Microtouch with WMS firmware, you are out of luck). Then there is the matter of fitting everything inside your cabinet.

Title: Re: Conversion Kit Williams CPU-NXT Post by: rickhunter on July 03, 2009, 12:04:00 AM Yes, been away in one of my secluded away from civilization assignments. I was in the Honduran "jungle" while the coup d'etat was going on, a pretty scary time. I didn't think I was going to make out of there this Tuesday, but thankfully I did by taking a car ride up the northern border to Guatemala and taking a plane from there. There border was crazy and a mess. Good thing I was in the northern area as I heard that in the southern portion there was military "semi-invasion" from Chavez-backed Nicaraguan army puppets. The last thing I want is to end up in a crossfire.
