Title: GameKing / I-Game battery issue Post by: cp on July 07, 2009, 01:30:42 PM I have an I -game / (Game King chipped) that is eating batteries. I have replaced the 3V (coin) battery 3 X's in this one particular game. Every 2 weeks comes up Low Battery. This is the only GK that has given me this issue/problem. Any ideas ? what to look at ? what to check ? (The batteries are fresh new batteries that I have installed.) ( Same batteries have been installed in other I game boards...no Low Bat issues ) Thanks.
Title: Re: GameKing / I-Game battery issue Post by: Belbtech on July 08, 2009, 06:56:13 AM I had an IGT a few years ago that was "eating" batteries...a day wouldn't go by & the new battery would be drained. According to my notes there is a R18 in the circuit that had shorted to ground and allowed the voltage drain off...my problem is that I don't remember if the board was a Game King/I Game or a S2000 (reel game). Either way it may be worth a look, R18 was close to BT1.
