Hello, I just thought I would post a couple pictures of another hobby I have
Restoring old traffic lights.
I think I have about 20 or so, from all different years.
Most are in the garage, But I put a couple in the house, and a few in the backyard.

I was surprised to see that in my searches for Pelco security camera parts,
that I would sometimes see that they also made traffic lights too!

Great and unusual hobby. I love the parking meters also.

On the subject of traffic lights, whilst in Vegas I was surprised to see that they have a countdown meter to show how long you have left to cross the road before the traffic starts moving. Great idea when you don't know if you should make a dash across six lanes!

Also, on Fremont Street, they had a countdown showing how long until the next time you could safely cross the road, another great idea, if you know you only have to wait 6 seconds why bother trying to run it.

I wonder how long it will be before those ideas cross the pond.

I just finished a huge Pelco installation, whaz are you up to with these ?

I took some certification training classes at a Pelco facility in NJ around '05...I work with them all the time...lol
I even hooked up a PTZ dome to an S+ that swings around towards the machine when the game goes into "hand-pay" mode... :71-
The biggest problems I have is lightning surges around correctional facilities on the outdoor domes...too much steel fencing and razor wire with poor grounds.
Even with surge protection, somehow sometimes the caps or board components inside the domes explode...lol

I think those are a bad idea.  As a driver I use them to judge if I will beat the yellow light.

That's what the spray is for on your license plate.   So when you go through the yellow light and the camera tries to catch your license plate all the see is a middle finger!

There are not many (if any) red light cameras in New Jersey.  Lots or RADAR, but no cameras.

Radar is mostly gone here in Canada. They are using laser. They point it at your grill. Even if you have a laser detector your dog meat.
Unlike Radar there is no stray radiation to tip you off early.
We have both red light cameras and speed on green cameras.
The only saving grace is that they don't deduct points from your license for photos.

Hi Sommer, Nice game room!  Sure they are legal to have. (As long as your not stealing them!  :96-)
Most of mine have the 8" lenses with the normal style light bulb in them
The newer ones that are used now are mostly 12" lense and are the lights are LEDs which should last longer
and use less electricity. The meters are fun too. I have a set of those in the house mounted on a pole

On a serious note, the stop lights are very cool. Where do you find them?

Be kinda fun to put a parking meter in the driveway where my guests park... :72-

As for as the lights go, Most of them I have found on the dreaded Ebay .

How about putting an S+ wired to the door's bolt and have the player Play for the right to "GO".  Any winning combo opens the door!!!  Probably not a good idea to use a theme with High volatility.
