Title: Game chip I.D. Post by: Mdpokersupply on July 28, 2009, 08:07:35 PM Hi all,
Is there any way through the program menus to tell what chip setting you have other then just reading it off the chip? My question is the chipset this unit has is hard to read and I need to know if it takes a 022 or 023 ID. Any ideas? This machine is a Triple Diamond S+. Steve Title: Re: Game chip I.D. Post by: StatFreak on July 28, 2009, 10:08:38 PM Press the test button and advance to page 4. The Winner Paid/Credit windows should flash between the SP chip and SS chip numbers. If it is a later SP chip (generally over 1000) you can then check the PSR to determine the DBV protocol ID. The earlier PSRs don't have this information.

Here's a very thorough explanation of the procedure with pictures (on a Triple Diamond machine by coincidence) http://www.newlifegames.net/spset/SPSS.htm (http://www.newlifegames.net/spset/SPSS.htm) Title: Re: Game chip I.D. Post by: Mdpokersupply on July 29, 2009, 03:33:22 PM Thanks I'll give this a shot...I suppose this applies to slant tops as well? That is what I'm currently working on.
