Title: Need sigma monitor identification and repair Post by: badbaud on July 29, 2009, 03:34:06 AM No markings on the monitor to say who made it. Has a switching regulator, in a metal cage, mounted above the "S" plug connector.
Need schematics as this one has a very dim blooming picture, can only see video in a very dark room. Tube checks good on tube tester. Replaced horz output transistor as thinking was FBT not getting turned on all of the way, finally got out HV probe and proper (approx 25Kv) HV is there. Picture fills whole screen but fuzzy. Thinking it is something in the brightness circuit but need schematics. Switching regulator is putting out proper (2) voltages. Any suggestions or where I can get a schematic for this unknown monitor? Please do not post questions in the Repair Log board. It is for documenting successful repairs and how they were accomplished.
