Title: PE+ Credit "knock off" Post by: cp on August 03, 2009, 05:47:08 PM Any info on making a PE+ (slant top) able to "key off" / knock off the accumulated credits ? I set the hopper to 0 ....attendant pay on all wins. only. It seems like someone ...sometime ago came up with a solution or device to plug into hopper that would allow key off credits. Thanks.

This works for any device with a hopper that uses optics. What it doesn't do is KEY OFF - its the standard coin-out process that just becomes coinless. The challenge is getting credits without coin. I thought of that idea of affixing coins to a modified hopper that would just simulate coins passing thru the optics and "paying out"... The other thought/ idea was to just figure out how to just funnel the coins back into the hopper...than going into the "pay cup"... (this is a slant top). The machine has BV so adding credits is no problem.
