Title: Bally E2000 lowboy, can I add a sound board?
Post by: Sgblade on August 04, 2009, 04:36:25 PM
I have a bally E2000 series lowboy and was wondering if it was possible to add a sound board. It looks like all the hardware is the same as other models that
have sound. Probably not as simple as just adding a sound pcb and speaker but thought I would see if anyone has done it.  Roms may have to be different too.

Thanks,
Scott

you have no room - beside the sound board - you need a transformer - and the speaker - not enough flat service available in the cabinet - unless you mount outside?

I was thinking external. There is not much room in there. Something that could easily be undone if I ever want to sell it. Didn't realize I would need a transformer though. May not be worth the effort. Just wanted to give the game room the casino atmosphere.  Probably better off trying to find something a little newer with sound.

Thanks,
Scott

never seen a sound board in a low boy - obviously for the space - you will also need the correct game prom with sound option (ES) -  not worth all the effort.
